Hi all,

So, not much of an update this week as I am currently preparing to move home.

However, I have decided to change the way that Asteroids in the game are generated.  Currently I am using prebuild models, and even though I have a pretty robust randomisation system, it is possible that after a while people will start to 'recognise' certain shapes etc. and this always bugged me in games I've player.

So, I'm going for Voxel based Asteroids with visible Ore Deposits.  The upside to this is that I can easily add more 'interactivity' to them (ore deposits deplete 'visually' etc.  The player won't need to mine these deposits directly (as the game exists on a single plane it would be weird), but I think the visual feedback would be a nice addition.
